Adding conditional branch after the fact

I have a problem where I did not realize that I should have a conditional branch for starting an event until after I had created a very long event script. I am wondering if it is possible to somehow select large portions of the event script rather than copy/paste it into the branch one part at a time.

I may have misunderstood you, but all I do if I want to copy/paste large sections from an event is hold down the shift key and press the down arrow key to select everything I want, then hit Ctrl+C; put the cursor where I want it all to go and then Ctrl+V

Try pressing one command, hold shift key down, and press another command.


Then cut/paste normally.

Ah that's perfect! Thanks so much, I guess I'm just still not knowledgeable about all the key commands yet.
