Not sure if this is the right forum to request this, but here we go...

Hello, I'm looking for a way to add flavor text to the map name display.
Being able to display a map name on the screen is already a wonderful feature in RPG Maker, but I want to take it a step further. I want to be able to show some flavor text underneath the name display, mainly to add some visual flair, but also to give players a little bit of context as to what the area is meant to represent. Not every map in my game will need this, but for some, especially towns and cities, it would certainly be nice to have.

Here's what the name display looks like by default. Overly simplistic, but it gets the job done.

Although for my game I'd ideally like it to look something like this.
(I just edited the original screenshot by resizing the display name and adding text underneath it.)

I should note that I'm already using the "Eli_GlobalText" plugin in my project, and it already helps with changing text colors, but with attempting to change the text size using text codes with this plugin also causes the text to crop out, so I'd also like to find an alternative method of altering the text size.

...And that about covers everything I need to request here. Thank you in advance for your help.

True enough, I thought about doing it this way already.
But speaking from personal experience here, I'd rather not use Show Picture commands for this unless I absolutely HAVE to, as making a separate picture for each and every map is kind of a hassle, at least to me.
I'm not trying to imply that Show Picture commands don't work for this. (Show Picture commands are already a godsend in this software) I just want to find a simpler, more efficient method for this.

search for a plugin for a so-called gab window.
They are usually used to display text at event positions, but should be able to be used with a self-erasig autorun on a map for a text on entering as well.

New sprite in action! A-1-2 looks kinda goofy might need to upscale some of the tiles and decorations. And maybe change eliza's creepy laugh to more of a neutral mouth
