I am trying to make a horror like temple run in rpg maker. The only thing is I need to add in a way to die when you crash into something or if the person chasing you catches you. How do I make a death happen with no battle?

If it's a simple chase-type gameplay, all you should need is an event that triggers death on Event Touch. Actually getting the monster to chase you intelligently is another thing.

Event what ever it is you are wanting to happen when the character round into obstacles and make it call a game over at the end :) . Is that what you mean?

Ya I want it so its a game over when you make a wrong turn or if the monster gets to you. Getting the monster to work might be a bit hard but I think I have a idea on how to get it work.

To make an event chase you, you need to put in the event's move route "Approach" and that will make the event come towards the player. To make the player lose upon touching the enemy, the trigger has to be set to "Event Touch".

Then put the Event Touch with the game over function, so the game ends on touch. Remember to raise the event speed and frequency, because default is really slow.

Just in case this wasn't really obvious already, the Game Over command is under the Scene Control category on Page 3 of the Event Commands menu.

Just note that from an enjoyment standpoint, few players like instant Game Overs in games like RPGs, and even Adventure games are starting to experience a backlash against instant GOs.  Consider more player-friendly approaches like being warped back to the beginning of the horror temple, having the party lose some HP (so they can eventually get through it with healing items), and/or simply giving fewer rewards (or branching the plot) at the end of the temple based on how many obstacles/enemies the player hit.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
