The battlesystem has internal option for "Surprise" and "preemptive strike", which basically both mean that one side or the other is surprised and looses first turn.

However, there is no way to force that option into a battle, and that option would be nice for story-related evented battles.

So I suggest adding two more checkboxes to the event command "Battle Processing", similiar to the existing can loose/can escape options:

"force surprise" and "force preemptive"

Since this is rather easy to implement, I will add this to the backlog as your reasoning behind it makes sense to me. Whether or not its actually implemented in the end depends on our project lead/the higher ups though,so no promises.

This is nice, one plugin I'm working had among it's options the option to force surprise/pre-emptive.  :D

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
