Adding text separated from textbox

i wanted to know if there was a plugin or script command that adds text to the screen that's separate from a textbox, like in the screenshot here, the clout meter. I'm already using the Galv_Variable plugin to have 2 images move according to 2 variables, all i need to figure out is how to make text appear on its own.

text can't appear on its own, you can either use text with an invisible frame of a gab window, or you can make a HUD of some form.

Both are possible with the plugins written for them, simply search for either gab window or for HUD plugins.
