A few days ago I was working on a monster that has an ability that is just as likely to hurt itself as it is to hurt its intended target.  Also, I was working on another skill that would drain the target's hp (like Vampire), but boost the user of the skill's ATK.

Is there any way for a single skill to have separate effects on a combination of targets of than what is permitted in the 'Scope' dropdown list?

yes, you can add commands to the damage formula if you know how to code them in ruby.

There is a topic (search for custom formula, don't have the link atm) that explains the options you have there, like adding a state to the user AND the target, make conditional differences in the damage and more.

However, you need to be careful if you combine coding in the damage formula with autocombat options because the damage formula gets processed multiple times in autocombat.

I'm pretty sure this is the link Andar ment, but just in case you might habe trouble finding it, here it is:

fomar's guide on how to handle custom formula seems the biggest and best explained on the web to me.

There's many options for custom formula you can find in there, so I recommend you just have a read through the whole guide.

It's totally worth it.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
