Hi all. I wonder if you could help me with a certain problem I am facing right now. What would be the best way to add a certain skill type(summon, for example) during battle and then remove that same skill type after the battle so you wont be able to see it in your skill menu screen? Basically, what I wanted is during battle, I'll use a certain command to enable me to use "Summon" skill type then after battle, that same skill type wont show up anymore unless I use the command to enable it again. Thanks in advance!

Make a state and give it the trait 'Add Skill Type', make sure its set to remove at battle end.

Make your command skill add the 'summon state' with 100% chance, set the skill to certain hit.

Hope this helps

Another question if you dont mind.

I saw a video of somebody who summoned a monster and became his party member but it also removed his human party members.

Let's say I successfully summoned a monster that will become my new party member, how do I setup the revert mode? Where the current summoned monster will be removed and my original party members will be back?

Thanks in advance!

Well, for that one you'll have to have the summon skill run a common event that removes your party members using the "Change Party Member" command, and adds the summon. Then it'll just be the summoner and the summon. When the summon expires (However you plan on doing that, not sure if you want a timer, KO, or single skill usage, whatever), run a common event that adds your party members again. Make sure you have the "initialize" block UNCHECKED.

Will this method work for the reverse too? Having the skill type show in menu but not during battle.

@Solis

Try using @Yanfly's Auto Passive states plugin.

http://yanfly.moe/2015/10/17/yep-13-auto-passive-states/

Create a state with the trait 'add skill type'.

Insert the following notetag. (it disables the state in battle and reactivates it out of battle)

<Custom Passive Condition>
if ($gameParty.inBattle()) {
condition = false;
} else {
condition = true;
}
</Custom Passive Condition>

Then on your actors or classes use the passive state notetag to give them the new sate.

Code:
<Passive State: x>

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
