Hi again Vlue,

Now i am trying this script, and i must say it's very handy as your other scripts.

As i am using Khas light script, i noticed two things:

1) If i set AC_NODIMNESS = false, the screen is darkened when a rain occurs, but the lights from Khas script doesn't appear. I am not sure if the dark level is snough for them to appear, but maybe there's a different tinting system here?

2) If i set the AC_BATTLE_WEATHER = true, there's a one second delay for the screen to get darkened if there's a rain going one. I am using Symphony battle system here.

If those details have a meaning, i hope they might help you and your script!!

1. It's a different tint. VX Ace actually darkens the screen itself when rain or storm (maybe snow, can't remember) is called.

2. Unfortunate side effect of the tint VX Ace uses for weathers, the timing sucks!

About the item 2, i knew it was something related to the default system of ACE. Anyway, i am glad to hear a response from you, and those things are not impeditive to my project at all.

After a few minutes of playing I get this error:

line 92: TypeError occured.
no implicit conversion from nil to integer

All options are in default, why it happens?

Hmm, I think that should do it. Grab the newer version from the pastebin.

Welp, I still have no clue why it's doing that to you, but we can work around it. Try the one from the pastebin now.

Hi Vlue,

I am getting a small issue here: i have an scene in a map with no preset climate, during the talk there's a manual rain throught eventing, then a battle starts and everything works fine, the screen dims and the weater is carried to the battle. But when i leave the battle and return to the same map, the rain and the dimness is completely gone.

Unfortunatelly no message occurs to better point you out  :|  .

It very well shouldn't do that. Looking through the code anyways. I'll have to test it out.

Hey Vlue, long time no see!

Well, I did everything you can possibly imagine to make this work, because I really didn't want to be the only stupid asking how to make this work, but I've run out of options...

I was using this script a couple weeks ago, but it didn't worked, and today I changed to that Basic Version you have, to see if that one would work... Same thing.

So I grabbed this one again, and now I'm trying to do the weathers in a simple way, using that "C=#" option you said on the script, but if I do that the game crashes.

Everything above resumed in a stupid way:

How do I make this work?

Is this compatible with your basic and/or advanced time system?

They won't blow up if you have them both in the game!

Hey Vlue, I'm having this error whenever I try to manually call the weather with the Climate_Control.change_weather:)snow) script:

Script 'Game_Interpreter' line 1411: TypeError occurred.can't convert false into IntegerI used the script by itself in a new project and I get this error. Any ideas?

Just means you're calling it from a map that doesn't have a defined Climate #

Options are, setting a climate for that map or specifying a climate to change with the command:

Climate_Control.change_weather(weather, duration, climate #)

i.e. Climate_Control.change_weather:)snow, 18000, 1)

Thanks man, I appreciate the assistance.Looking at it now I feel stupid for asking this, but it's 12:30am here, so I'm not blaming myself to much.

Hello Vlue :)
Sorry to bother you once again, but I am really, really confused as to how to use this script. I'm sure that sounds ridiculous on my part, but I thought I was doing everything right; I've pasted the script below Materials and above Main Processes, set the climate of the map in the note field of map properties(0 is for sunny/normal, I believe?) and tried using a script call to test it out[Climate_Control.change_weather:)rain,nil,1)]. Once I try to playtest I get an error; I'm really sorry if there's a simple answer to this, but It's been confusing me for awhile. I was trying to figure it out on my own, but I knew you'd be very helpful, as you have been in the past :)

Once again, I am very sorry for being bothersome, and thank you for your wonderful scripts :D

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
