Hello,

I'm currently looking for a way to display the current or specific actor paremeter in the description of skill and itens. Pretty much like League of Legends, where:

Ex: Fireball deals 100 + x fire based damage.

Being X egual to current actor Int * 1.2. That being said the X would be the bônus damage of the actor basead on his current INT.

I'm using Message Core, Skill Core and Item Core from Yanfly. (The only ones that need compatibility).

Thanks.

I made this a while ago, that lets you put arbitrary functions inside messages. You'll still need to grab the current actor, though:

You can try this:

it allows you to use script calls inside messages (wich include the description box). You will just need to find out the best code to retrieve the actor data.

If each skill is exclusive to one actor, it should be very easy to do.

For example, if the value is "100 + actor.mat * 1.5" you can use \e['Math.floor(100 + $gameActors.actor(ID).mat * 1.5)'] where 'ID' is the actor Id

Now if more than one actor can learn the same skill, then it might be a bit tricky to get the correct actor data.

Thanks both of you. I've managed to reach the desired effect. As Victor pointed, each actor really has a exclusive skill pool. So no problem grabing the current user skill. ^^

Thanks.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
