Advertising your game..?

The views on my game finally went down to basically zero. It was doing well for a while. I've made use of these forums, reddit, and also trying to network directly with Youtubers/streamers. I got a few to play it.
And I can see a trend with how active I am on forums and things. But I feel like there is also a more effective way to do this.

Do you have any tips? This is my first game so this is all pretty new for me.

There is an existing thread which goes into this in a lot of detail. You can find it here. Although it is in the Commercial Discussion section, it contains advice that is applicable to everyone. It's 12 pages long, and you might want to skip the first few (though there's some important stuff there). Do not be put off by the fact that it started from one person's game and experience - it broadened out, plus the advice given to that specific person is widely applicable.

Anything here is only going to be a repeat of what's there.
