Advice Needed Concerning Chests

I would like some advice on how to go about making a chest with treasure that cannot be opened from certain directions because it is up on a cliff.

I have highlighted the spot I'd like to put the chest:

Simplest way would be to put a condition in your chest event "If player is facing up" (you might eventually also check for player facing right).

The easiest way to do this is to check which direction the player is facing when interacting with the event.


This makes it that the chest will only open if the player is in front of the chest

though if I'd been really thinking about it, I would have catered for an event note tag as well.
