These look great! But wait, if you are releasing the animated battlers now, does that mean that you discarded the winners from the previous poll?

Alter VII is out!


3x Animated battlers ready for use!


As you know, I asked everyone for their opinion regarding a new scheme change in the Librarium and the response was essentially a huge yes! (You can read all about it and find the poll here) Thus here we have it!  RTP Alter VII featuring 3 animated battlers!


following our new scheme and in accordance to the poll results so far, you can look forward to the following battlers for our March battlers;


-First update-

  • Animated Rank 4 Kraken
  • Static R3 Darklord
  • Static R2 Succubus
  • Static R1 Cockatrice

The Kraken being my Dragon-tier worthy R4 animated battler pick, and the 3 statics coming from the original statics poll which got replaced for the second February update after the scheme change!


-Second Update-

  • Animated R3 Demon
  • Animated R2 Werewolf
  • Animated R1 Rat

The winners, one from each rank, coming straight out of our ******* animated battler poll!


You’ll notice there’s now Iconsets bundled with the pack for the battlers, this is thanks to our ******* Miletones advancing smoothly! Many many thanks to all of you guys in our wall of thanks !  



Lastly, As I don’t want to trash the poll results of the last battler poll in the previous format, the winners will be featured in our first April Update!

And that’s about it! The running poll in the new format will determine the winners for our May update!

I was so excited for the new Skeleton I ended up starting a map sprite for him for my Birthday Bash project just from the screens on the twitter feed xD;
He took absolutely forever, but looked like a bunch of people in the youtube comments were Hyped about him too so I've got another contribution :3.
I setup all the animated color schemes, and also included the base skeleton in the color schemes of the original statics (had planned to make them too but took too long ^^;) but you may be able to use the bases as a representation of a random encounter of any of the statics :).

Even though he isn't holding his weapons for the map sprite I hope you enjoy it and it helps ^^.

I also worked on another animated battler I wanted for my project, which I'd like to share here which I hope you like too :)
(Even though this was custom (no good map monster sprite to reference) it somehow took less time than the skeletons xD; Bones are hard to sprite)

Thanks Ilan! to answer your question we have 2 updates per month, and they're every 2 weeks!


Our first March update will be released on March 15th 2016!

Hello!


First of all, great work, I've been enjoying your art since I first saw it in Yanfly's videos on youtube.


I was planning on adding 'Beef', the minotaur to one of my games, but because of the large resolution, some animations focus is set too high and it just doesn't look good. First I thought about cropping the sheet, but this would be against your terms of use I think.


I don't know how to change the animation focus for just one enemy, so I'm asking you if it would be possible to release a new cropped version that can be used along the <Sideview Width: x> / <Sideview Height: x> tag with a custom scale of frames instead of 1:1. I wouldn't mind if this is not in your favor, it was just an idea  :)  Otherwise, I'll just leave it like this.

Add "<Scale Sprite: x%>" to the Beef enemy notetag area, replacing 'x' with whatever scale may help.
And you can use

Replacing y.z with, for example '0.8' to adjust it's center point, being able to further move it around your screen, so you shouldn't have any worries getting it to work for you without having to edit the image.

I know, but this only moves the Sprite. Setting the Y anchor too high will make it look like it's floating in the air and it won't make a change to the animation focus.

@sieben43The scale option doesn't do that though? The scale works on both the enemy and its shadow from its anchor point. If you're animation is going to the center of the enemy that should be no issue?
