Story

You are a space explorer aboard The Snooper.
Everything was going great on the travel... until now.
During your rest time, something has gone wrong and the spaceship crash landed on an unknown planet (until now): Aeternial.

Lost and possibly alone, your goal is to survive and find a way to fix your spaceship.

But don't worry, I'm sure there are some happy people around to help you, or maybe some alien forms willing to be your friends.

I checked a bit of the deom out Lantiz; might I say I greatly approve of the main character's name! I'm of course much cooler than that guy though.

The system seems to work really well and captures the feel of what you are going for. The fog of war script is awesome, lol I always have to try and get every little cloudy spot and completely fill in the map. Really enjoyed playing with my x box controller and the game had some nice music and graphics.

Unfortunately, I was only able to check out so much of it, I ended up dying in one part and when I went to load my save file it just got stuck on a Now Loading screen.

I don't have too much feedback other than at times I found all the huds on screen a little busy and despite the cool foresight to have them move on-screen depending on your position there were still times were they kind of blocked the view.  Maybe if some of them were a touch smaller if that's possible (like the power/ammo hud). I'd be up for playing more though it seemed nifty! There were some spelling issues to but you probably expected there would be, nothing so serious of course as me not being able to understand what was going on.

Thank you so much!

I really appreciate your words.

Unfortunately, I was only able to check out so much of it, I ended up dying in one part and when I went to load my save file it just got stuck on a Now Loading screen.
Somehow it's actually good. @Arithmetician told me about a similar issue on Mac, I wonder if it's the same... Maybe it's not Mac specific then.

Weird is, I can play and save without a problem '-'

Can you tell me where you were when you last saved? Maybe it's a map issue.

About the hud. It can be smaller, but on higher resolutions would be too small.

Is it only the minimap? Maybe I can render it a little transparent. What do you think?

There were some spelling issues to but you probably expected there would be
Yes, sorry about that, English is not my mother language, but at some point I fix them :D

Thanks for telling me.

Well, looks like the loading problem is going to make me bald hahaha

Again, thanks for taking your time to test my game.

It was in the middle of that Rotorcyon planet or whatever it was called; that second planet you have to visit. Hmm, yeah a traparent mini-map might be a good touch.

Didn't say he wasn't, just when you compare him to me he comes up short in the awesomeness department  B)

Well I hope you get that figured out especially if the same systems are in place for your main project, would also like to check out more of the demo.

Okay here are the results of my test:

First planet map: Saves won't load.

Second planet map: Saves won't load:

In space world map: It won't even let me select the file to load; like I never even saved to that slot.

Also, I noticed after exiting out of the options menu the screen goes back to minimized size.

Oh my.

This is really odd.

I have no clue about what may be causing it. :s

Edit:

Found out the problem.

It only happens when I encrypt the image files... so, still no clue.

Edit 2: Loading freeze problem fixed.

Comments like yours are what makes me keep my work.

I took a break after finishing the demo, giving some time to test the engine and at the same time, have some fun and relax hahahaha.

I'll get back to work soon.

Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks for the interest.

Actually the demo graphics are not the same as shown, but it's the actual game graphics.

The demo graphics is based upon the RTP, some packs and a few custom.

I hope to be able to get back to work now... too much to do:

Final Fantasy XV, Albion Online, Maple Story... hahahaha

Updating a little.

I started to map the main city, it's going well.
Created a plugin for weather effects. For now I only use it for falling leaves, but it can do lots more.
Created a time control plugin, it works like Shin Megami Tensei: Persona and changes at every map transfer.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
