I came up with an idea about running a common event after every single skill or item that may cause damage or add states.

It is an after action check that looks for dead allies, if there is a party member dead, a skill is called for reveive an ally consuming an item instantly.

I also use this whenever an ally or enemy has the same parameter being buffed up and down to remove both of them.

If the skill needs a common event fot itself, it call the After action check when it's done with its own common event.

Can you come up with better ideas to improve this common event system.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
