So the other day I upgraded to Windows 10, and 3 weeks later MV wanted to update since. Between those times I've never ever tried to run RPG Maker MV until yesterday.

A whole week after it updating. It runs fine and that can closes perfectly....well kinda. This is where the problem starts and continue to lie.

When I try to close it, it closes, but Steam still thinks it's running. When I restart Steam, Steam won't say it's runing until it's been running for like at least 10-20 minutes, even when I don't even run MV before then. Task Manager doesn't show any processors of MV running, not even in the background. I should also mention that restarting temp fixes the problem until I open MV within Steam to use it, and then the problem wil start again until I close it.

I searched Google and the only forum it found relateable was this:

But it's not simular to my problem.

I can provide screenshots if need.

F*ck it, here's one:

Well I'm going to guess you have checked it, but in the interest of testing everything, have you scrolled down in task manager? The top bit is only processes with windows visible. It's possible MV has a background process that's not terminating correctly.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the editor? That might work if the issue is some kind if corrupted file.

I stated that not even in the background, there a processor running:

RMMV
Sometimes Steam glitches and you need to restart the computer to solve the problem (for example just yesterday a different game that I launched from the steam window kept saying that it couldn't run because it needs steam to run - after a reboot everything worked).

But if a restart fixes the problem until you try to start the program, then there is only one thing that can cause such an affect:

One of your background processes blocks the RPG Maker and kicks it out in a way that Steam doesn't even detect the program was stopped.

I suggest starting to check the logs of your antivirus and anti-malware programs as well as any parental block programs. There are several antivirus programs that are known for their aggressive heuristics having blocked RMs several times in the past  You need to find which one is responsible and whitelist RM inside it.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
