Aligning text to the center of the message box.

I'm trying to create message boxes that give you a message whenever you gain an important item or something important happens.

I'm trying to make the message say "[x] has joined the battle!" where the text in the message is aligned in the center.

I've read that Yanfly has a plugin for this, but no matter how much I look I can't find it.

He does, but it doesn't work the way you may want.  I actually asked for this sort of thing in the Plugin Requests and no one ever took it on.  You can do it using massive trial and error with Yanfly's Message Core and changing the X position of the text, but that's about it.  Center alignment, he said, might come in the future, but he's so busy with other plugins and bugs that I don't expect to see it anytime soon.

modernalgebra has the Formatting script for Ace which does this, but he hasn't converted it yet, if he even plans to.

Like you, anyone that wants to have center/right aligned text has to either wait or commission it and since I lack funds at the moment, I can't commission it.  Have to wait.
