    P.S. Very soon will be another build which will fix some bugs and improve performance when a large number of enemies on map.

    Hey, I just tryed to open the demo and i get an error " can't read Actors.json" What i'm suppose to do ?

    I have copy/paste in a new project and it work well, sorry for the inconvenience

    New build 625




      • fixed bug: error when running project in browser
      • fixed bug: wrong percent of experience in XP bar
      • fixed bug: game crash after exit to main menu and start new game
      • fixed bug: favorite weapon circle active on non-abs maps
      • fixed bug: the player could jump and change direction while message process
      • the message about the outdated RPG Maker MV version will no longer be an error, just a warning in console
      • some fixes with <noDescription:1> parameter
      • improvements with ABS Activate plugin command
      • performance improvements where many enemies on ABS maps

    Thanks my friend.

    I updated the plugin and I still have all the previous bugs. XP, Ammo 0 when changing from ABS map to Non-ABS.... Do I have to do more than replace the JS file?

    I tried that and it would make the bottom hud go away as well when I started playing the game. I tried saving it and disabling the ability to move them and such but that had no effect either all of the hud would ar disappear or all of it stays.

    Have you figured a way to prevent attacks from going thru walls?
    Perhaps using regions or tile tags will be simplest .

    Really is the biggest draw back for me, since my game uses more dungeon crawling than open field stuff.

    Hello!

    First of all, I want to truly thank you for all this effort, the work has been stellar and although the system seems basic, with a little bit you can make a lot, and it can be very fun to play with once you create some synergies and full-realized classes. I also recommend people to make a fuller use of States with this ABS, they can bring spark to your skill if you think it’s lacking.

    Second, I highly commend you for making this ABS compatible with some Yanfly plugins. One issue though, I’ve been using Yanfly’s AutoPassiveStates and they work fine with the plugin, everything is stellar mechanically, but the UI displays the Buff as “NaNs”, because these passives indeed do not have durations. I’m not sure if you can even fix this, but does anyone have any hints on how I could change that display?

    Thanks in advance if anyone has some answers!

    Does anyone else have a problem with lag when they game test using the plugin in the editor but it runs fine when you do a finished build? I have updated my game with the 625 update and it does not seem to have done anything. Do I have to start from scratch then?

    I updated the plugin and did not have any fixes of the problems. I think something was missing.

    Not all of the fixes I'm working on finished in this build. I will update by the small parts.

    Unfortunately the ammo system is complex and bad designed at the start, working on it...
    What about XP ?

    Will think over this problem and your request which was previously

    I'll try make compatibility with this Yanfly plugin

    Thanks for the hard work. The main flaw for my game, is the issue of ammunition. I'll wait for the correction.

    The XP bar has a similar problem to the old one. The percentage she reports is not the actual percentage of the character.

    For example: If I progress to level 5, instead of starting bar from scratch, it starts at 64%.

    Hey Phoenix i will ask you something:

    I don't know why when i activate the abs in the map with <abs> i dont see my allies follow me.

    THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! Sometimes for make the game more intense i use a plugin command that zoom the screen focusing in the player.
    This is so cool but when i do that the HUD its cut or "paste" in the map like ink in paper. (sorry my bad english)

    And one last thing: when i get attacked o i attack there are a light circle that in dark maps light you (when the animation start like) making the player or enemy flashing when attacked, there is a way to remove it?
    Btw your plugin is awesome! thanks for your hard work!

    Hi Phoenix (or anyone who can help),

    I'd like to make two enemies fight EACH OTHER on the map. Since none of the enemies are in troops I can't figure out how to
    do it (I tried confusion states and that didn't work because they weren't allies).

    Can you (or anyone) help me with this frivolous problem?

    I doubt it is either frivolous or easy. I think is super hard problem :wink:
    • If done properly, would be a great addition to RPG Maker MV.

    Thank you! And darnit, I was hoping it would be something simple that I'm just overlooking (super new to this).

    Here's a youtube video of the demo. It's currently called "Cockatrice Fighter" but I want to think of a better name.



    And I have considered the ethical ramifications of this game, but dismissed them as they are Cockatrice and they have
    magical combative powers like Fireball. :p Might as well be Unicorns.

    Edit: Sorry about the massive YouTube window.....IDK if that's cool and IDK how to undo it. Forum nub.

    Hey guys!

    I have updated my abs plugin to the 625 build. After updating, I noticed that enemy AI is more stupid lol. Before I would agro 3 mobs and they would all hit me, but now 1 is hitting me and 2 are running around me. Anybody have the same issue?

    The enemy AI does seem to be a bit weird, but there is a way to make custom AIs in the data (I believe). I would recommend you explore this alternative sooner than later, since you most likely will be using it. After all, the same AI across the whole game seems a bit... stiff.

    Thank you Pheonix for your work, your battle system is very awesome, It's a great news that you come back to work on it !!

    I see the other posts and I try to add animations for characters/ennemis but I not find any way, do you think it's possible to add a way to animate the characters (not castanim or skill animation) ? Like other plug-ins with idle, atk, cast, animations ?

    It's will be great ! Thank you to help us to make the game of our dreams.
