One project I'm working on is a game that takes after shooters. One of the influences is Doom 2016/Eternal. To that end, most of the weapons are guns, with a secondary fire mode in place of spells (although those exist too). I'm just kind of at a loss as to what alt-fire the pistol, minigun, and rivet gun (read: sniper rifle) would have.

Perfect Dark had a similar thing going on, with all weapons having a secondary feature. The basic pistol secondary was a pistol whip, the basic minigun had a lock on feature, and the sniper rifle would take you to a crouch to steady your aim. Some weapons had great secondary's like turning your machine gun into a turret. Check that game out for inspiration.

Well, see, melee attacks are dealt with by using a gauntlet-mounted bayonet, so I think a buttstroke is a bit redundant.

Pistol: Stun shot.
Minigun: A frickin' grenade launcher. I've always wanted to see the barrels of a minigun spin around the barrel of a grenade launcher. It's an already kickass weapon that would be combined with another kickass weapon.
Rivet gun: Double shot. Simple, effective. Two shots for one.

I like it. Make the minigun a bigger, badder assault rifle. Not one million percent on board with the twin shot thing, I feel like people will use that as if it were the primary fire.

For just starting streaming on the 10th... Definitely not the worst. :LZScheeze:

Granted I need 333.34 hours a month on average to achieve money. So I don't really expect that, but it sure has helped my game dev go much faster.
