AltMenuScreen Edit

So one of the default plugins that come with RPGMV is AltMenuScreen by Yoji Ojima.

I'm requesting a slight edit to the AltMenuScreen plugin that will change the bottom most menu, which shows the Gold icon, to include Location and Playtime.


Also, I would like the display to show 5 columns of options instead of the default 4.


So there would be 5 options in the first row and 5 options in the second row.

I'm trying to achieve the above effect but with the addition of the Gold menu.

Hmm. Anyone know how to make 5 columns for the menu options instead of 4?


In the plugin parameters I'm changing the maxColsMenu value to 5 but it stays locked at 4.

I think this is because the maxColsMenu parameter changes the amount of Status Window columns, not in the Command Window.

To modify this, just replace the 4 in the image for maxColsMenuWnd, on the plugin.

The GameTime I know how to do. I can try do it for you. You're using AltMenuScreen3, right?

I was fiddling around with it but made no progress.


I was just looking at Amuseum's SaveFileExtra's plugin.


That's how I saw the drawPlaytime and drawLocation functions.

Here, I think now displays the information you want. Put it in your project. Probably the texts will be disorganized because I don't know your font size. Show me a printscreen and I will adjust these informations on the window.

Only thing I would suggest would be to let Yanfly's Core Engine draw the gold icon.


But no worries I just change the icon value in the script.

I updated the plugin a few minutes ago, because the playtime was stopped, hihi.
But, I didn't use the Gold_Window to this, then I think that the Yanfly's plugin don't change this.

Oh, I didn't realize the update!


Hmm. Plugin paramaters don't seem to be working!


But whenever you get those running I think my problem will be officially solved!

Here the paramenters are working. Try to see if it's not being caused by other plugin handling the menu.
Anything just tell me if I can help.

That's weird. Even in a brand new project the parameters don't seem to be working on my end.


You can see here that AltMenuScreen is my only plugin: The parameter for MapName says "Location:"

And you can see here that the MapName isn't changing to say "Location:" but stays saying Map Name:

The plugin name should be AltMenuScreen3, because the parameters use this name. Or you changed this?

Oh. Awkward. I must have removed the 3 somehow.
