My campers are all getting the dreaded unexpected file format error.
My version on LITE on the machines at camp is
"RPG VXAce Version 1.01b Lite"
Am I using the latest version?
and what is the file that needs to be compatible with Ace(full version?)
(today is my last chance to upgrade versions and send them home with the latest data files.
the kids who are having trouble are running the 30 day trial.)

I thought I got this version from the same spot, but at this point I don't want a bunch of "unhappy campers!"
They all love the software, want to buy it, the parents are thrilled, but they can't open their games at home and it is a sour ending to the week if I can't get it fixed.

They have very good staff and I will watch out for your topic there. I know the staff there and they are very knowledgeable. Please tell them that you have already created a new project and copied the Game.rvproj2 file from it into your current project.Since that didn't work, you copied your Audio, Data and Graphics folder into the new project and still it doesn't work. And the message you are getting is "Unexpected File Format" I am sure that they can help you beyond what I know. I will be watching for your post.Latest Threads

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
