Engine: RPG Maker MV (PVG Style)

Synopsis: Legends and fairy tales, even the crazy ones come from somewhere. One such tale in the world of Remnant is that of the 4 maidens, Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Come along on an epic adventure that transcends time itself. Learn the Origins or the original 4 maidens from 2000 years ago, and then continue the adventure in the modern era of Remnant. Two separate stories will entwine themselves and build off of each other. Some actions done in one era can affect the other, unlocking new areas, quests and items.

In total, 16 characters are planned for the maiden era, the 4 maidens and 12 original characters unique to this game. 14 canon (and 4 non-canon) characters are planned for the modern era side of the game, including Team RWBY, Team JNPR, Tean SSSN, Oscar Pine and one more surprise character ;-) (Hint : Ice Cream)

Positions/Roles Needed: Artists, Animators, Video editing, Some mapping, Parallax Mapping, PVG asset creation (Models, clothes, and weapons), PVG character design, Dragon Bones enemy design, Canon Character PVG design

My Role(s)/Position(s): I'm doing the writing and eventing, and developing the mechanics for this game. Also, due to the shows growing popularity in Japan, I will be also translating the game into Japanese and possibly other languages using google translate, but only Japanese is for certain planned. I will also be creating some maps for the game, but will need assistance with Parallax

Characters, Setting and World Development: The world of Remnant has many different cultures and locales. The modern design style of each locale has mostly been shown, to varying degrees, in the show, with the exception of Vacuo. The more primitive version of Remnant from 2000 years ago could be quite different, and there is much leeway for artist interpretation. I want this game to be a masterpiece tribute to a franchise that I love.

While I do not own RWBY and thus I cannot monetize this particular game, I have a trilogy of other games planned out in my own universe that can be monetized, so while I cannot offer payment for this particular project, if you help with this and choose to continue helping with other projects that are for profit games, then we can discuss payment arrangements for those later games.

I will need play testers once the game is completed, particularly to address any translation errors since I will be relying upon Google translate to do this, and mistakes are to be expected, so if you speak another language and want to playtest my game when it is nearer to completion, then speak up, and say what language you speak and want to be my tester to find any errors made by google translate, and your language might be added into the game.

As I said before, though, Japanese is the only for certain language I want to add, but if I get testers for other languages I may add more.

PVG sounds like an odd choice for a RWBY fan game being as the source material is much closer to anime as opposed to medieval. I'm curious why you chose this art direction.

Well I am making the game right now with regular Sprites ut if I could get the actual assets I just think it would be cool to see a game made with this kind of sprite instead. I feel like it would be an interesting challenge. Maybe someone has already done it but I haven't seen it done yet. What's the proper assets I don't think it would be too hard to convert Ruby characters into realistic forms rather then using chino sprite forms. A YouTube called driftwood gaming also indicated that he likes playing games that make use of custom assets rather then relying wholly on stock assets, so with that in mind I thought this an interesting challenge.

That being said, I have a limited amount of time to work on the game so I can't wait around hoping the assets will materialize, so have to make due with what I have and do whatever I can as I am able.

@CowSenpaiFansee thanks, I put a lot of thought into the story and hope it will turn out great. Mostly I have been making maps so far and designing the actual party characters, which are a lot.

It would give it a unique aesthetic and could look pretty cool of you could get some RWBY characters done up in the same style. Good luck to you and your game. I hope it turns out great.

Thank you very much. I am pretty confident that the story will turn out great but not very confident that I will get to make it in this Unique Style considering how long it's been since I posted the request LOL. But either way the game will get made even if I have to use the default chibi Style

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
