An introduction

Hello everyone.

I've always dreaming to make my own game, i'm a gamer after all. And so i've found RPG Maker. Though i can't afford it before because i don't have any money but when it was on sale i'm instantly buying this program.

Also i am very, very new to this kind of stuff so hopefully if i join this community i can learn more and perhaps make my own game.

That's all i can say, nice to meet with you guys!

What I have learned, is that RPG Maker offers the ability to express a type of creativity that I never knew I had!  I hope that your experience is just as good!  So again, I say welcome!

Both Steam and HumbleBundle.com sometimes have really good prices on RPGMaker so keep an eye on both! I'd recommend keep an eye on both the HumbleBundle store AND their Weekly Bundles for it because sometimes it is in one and sometimes the other.

Yes i did read those tutorials and they were great for me. I'm probably gonna read the official guide first and messing around with the software.

Thank you! I got quite a lot of things in my mind about making my own game right now and hopefully someday i will probably able to make it true. Just need more motivation to do it, really.

I already bought the software on steam for about $5 which is really cheap! If steam doesn't have these crazy discount i would probably won't be able to get this. Also thanks Gaben

Lol, HumbleBundle had it as part of the lowest tier of a weekly bundle for $1 at one point last year. $5 isn't bad at all though! My first copy cost about $18, my second was with that bundle that was mostly DLC for it(the DLC were why I got that copy, then gave the program key to a friend).
