Hope so, there's still more stuff I'd like to see.

Hi, Celianna.

The perspective of your walking sprites in your web seems like facing to southwest instead of west. As you may not create eight direction sprites, that perspective will make hard for another artist to create diagonal sprites in your style, because your sprites already face diagonally.

If I am allowed to give suggestion, I hope you can turn around the base sprites perspective little bit to make it face straight to the west or east.

Thank you for your consideration.

Nope, won't do that. I made them 3/4 view on purpose - I like the angle much more. If someone wants to create 8 walking frames, they can create the actual left/right views themselves (instead of the diagonal sides, which already exist).

While I would be extremely interested in matching sprites, especially if they come in a layered photoshop file, they would have to support the default directions to be really usable in a game project. The diagonal facing of the demo sprite looks extremely nice and I can understand why you like that better - but it would limit their use to more or less standing NPCs. As soon as they move they would no longer look OK.

I might still be interested in that if the same style would also be available in the regular firections for moving sprites (from another artist if you're not doing them), especially as the main actors usually need their own sprites anyway (especially if they're of unique races that can't be generated).

But the sales potential of such a pack would (in my opinion) be highly influenced by its usability in the games...

I understand that you might have your own personal interest when creating your art. I cannot ask more about that, because you are the one who create the sprites.

But for me as the potential user of your sprites pack, my reason asking default character format by default is because it is pretty much less expensive and less time consuming than asking artists to create custom left/right direction for every walking characters. Because every walking characters need left and right direction, but maybe only main character that needs his diagonal sprite to be custom made like I saw in most game with pixel art sprites like Phantasy Star and Suikoden II, unless if they were made in isometric style.

Thanks.  :)

It seems fine for left/right especially if there will be a whole pack of it, but how would it look like for the front/back view? I cannot imagine how those two other directions will look like... As of now, the style of those sprites would be usable only if the game is a side scroller.

Is any parallax mapping actually required in order to get any maps using these tile sets to look just like the ones in the AD: Winter sale's page? Especially asking for the "Ice Palace" looking ones, since they look too good to be true.

All of them are made in an image editing software. That doesn't mean anything 'new' was created :) all the tiles are the same. The lighting is just extra fancy in these maps.

When will these be released on Steam?
Sorry, cannot answer that, I don't know myself either. The steam releases come out in batches, and I think this one should come out soonish.

No worries, I thought that might be the case. I think I remember Pioneer Valley Games mentioning something similar about one of their packs. I'll just cross my fingers, & focus detail work on the lowlands first; if it hasn't been released by the time I connect the fields & lay out the basic terrain groupings on my current project.

FYI, you don't have to buy the steam pack to use it in the steam version of the program.

True, but Steam accounts can have money added to them via purchase of Steam cards with cash, then added to accounts directly, that leave no trace of those transactions beyond their ties to a Steam Account; an account that is tied to e-mail accounts who information is false & disposable burner phones with no name attached to them as well.

By that same token you could buy a visa gift card with cash, load up a temporary email on one of those "email for 10 minutes" sites, and get your DLC from the store.

Hello Can I purchase your set and upsizing it to MV standard for use?

I saw you mentioned resizing plugin but I like 48*48 size, so..

So I think these tiles are absolutely gorgeous, however I always feel like they're slightly off in terms of matching the RTP sprites. Has anyone tried using the PVP sprites with this pack? Or any other recommendations for sprites that would blend better? I'm also thinking the sprites should ideally be taller than 32 pixels, given how huge most of the trees are.
