Using 1.2 as 1.3 still gives graphical errors.

Built with Intel XDK

Older builds still install fine and windows export runs perfectly on PC

All files are the same and even replaced the index.html file

Last working Android build was on 8/15

Tried exporting and building multiple times and still nothing

Edit:Tried doing a 1.3 build, still no sound effects

Edit 2: Took an old folder with the project that worked before, completely unmodified, and it still doesn't work

Anyone able to help with this? It seems that every step of the way something goes wrong. I have a finished game that I want to get on Google Play. I did have an older working version and when I went to upload, the intel.xdk name "already exists" so I can't upload that file. I still can't get any newer uploads to work. Why music and no sound effects? What is possibly causing this? I'm using the same files since the first upload!

I tried to look at the "manual method" of making an apk and even with reading the instructions I don't even know where to begin. Python doesn't even let you choose the installation directory? Not like it matters. I don't understand anything after that anyway.

Sorry about the rant but it just seems near impossible to get any kind of support. I work on this project at least 12 hours every time I have a day off. I'm completely lost and just need help.

Thanks.

Bro, Have you tried to create a new project (that has no game play just a default new project) then deploy it on android and test if sounds are working?

Just tried it. New blank project. Installed the app on 2 phones. Same result. Anyone else want to try? I'm thinking the next step for me would be to completely reinstall Intel XDK. Maybe it's reading that folder incorrectly?

I'm using the both process and sounds are good. How about test the apk to other android devices?

If you want Link to me your project and i'll try to convert the project using manual or XDK and test it?

It happened to me too when I have installed the last version of Intel XDK. The music works well, but the sound effects don't work.

Tried on 2 Android devices and it didn't work. Installed Intel XDK on a different computer and that didn't work either.

Also tried building with an earlier version of Cordova, as well as standard HTML5. Still nothing.

It's not a real solution, but when I select "18" or less instead of "19", it works.

Let me know ;)

Same problem as the op, got music but no sound...

Got both sound files, ogg and m4a, so that is not the problem. Also, even the "rtp" sounds don't play (by the way, do I really need both for android?).

I followed the help files instructions... save for the final point, where I followed the crosswalk official instructions instead. But that shouldn't make that big a difference.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
