Good morning everyone. I have deployed my android version for my project The Perfectionist and it works good. The only issue is that sometimes the tilesets will go dark and black unless I walk around the screen for a few seconds. Sometimes faces and text in battle and on the menu disappear but I can still make a selection. Does anyone know how to fix this, thanks

Some things that I think could be the culprit:
Shaz's change tileset
I compressed the files on the game slightly to ensure it fit under 100MB for the playstore

Hi, I tried your game.
I have the problem of black tilesets from the beginning, and it does not work out even though I walk.
I'm working on an android game too, and the only thing I can safely tell you is that the Shaz plugin is not a problem at all. I have tested my project on more than 10 different devices.

Do you have any other plugins that modify tiles? or who preload the contents?

When i play it it goes away once i walk and other people have had it work fine. and the only thing i can think of are these:
screenresolution (changes screen size)
fluidtimestep (helps load files)

I tried using the preload manager before but my game wont load. it stays stuck on loading. on windows and mac the game works perfectly.

PS - bgm doesnt work in the game but bgs and sfx do. I have uploaded both ogg and mp4a files

If you use one of the latest rpg maker versions you do not need fluidtimestep, it is already integrated into the core. Try to export it without this.
To me too all the preloads create problems and I had to eliminate them. The only one I use is this https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/preload-manager.46515/ and it works perfectly.

Strange also the problem of BGM, in my project works perfectly. Try to put someone with reduced weight, better if less than 1 mb.

Another advice I can give you is to remove the plug-ins that you think are the problem 1 to 1. I know it's hard work, but I do, and after exporting 200 apk always arrive at the XD solution

Maybe start by removing fluidtimestep (which is superfluous in current versions), and screenresolution.

I removed screenresolution and timefluidtimestep and that didnt work. I will try using the preload manager you suggested and report back :)

I had similar trouble with sideview characters going black during fights on Android, but display was fine on PC. I fixed the issue by reducing the file. It might be a similar problem with tileset. Try reducing the file size to see if this fix the issue.

Regarding the disappearing text in menu. Did you find a solution ? I think I have a similar issue (you can look at that post I made about it: https://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/disappearing-windows-background.100632/)

not completely just a few things to try such as checking each plugin, taking out screen resolution changers, and keeping the file size down. im lgoing to try the preload manager artikdart suggested

In my case, plugin aren't responsible. The same issue occurs with a fresh new RMMV project with only default scripts. I'm using the SRD preloader in my project, but for the sake of testing I disabled it and tried the one ArtikDart talked about; no change.

My guess is that it's coming from the OS clearing RAM and unloading ressources. So possibly something fixable with the SDK. I'm still testing some options.

That's actually the method I use. I did post my problem there as well and it seems I'm not the only one with it. But if you find any clue to fix it or knows another method without that issue, I'ma ll hear :)

Well, rats. Was really looking forward to trying out FPS Creator, but trying to install and set it up was pretty much impossible for my tiny brain to comprehend. So much for that, then.
Ah, home once more! I think I can safely work on my games now.
