I forgot about these deep water fish. Some of those do look like Cthulhu's spawn. Blobfish look like some kind of teleport pod accident.

Doesn't really classify as animals but contact with cockroaches and spiders can scar my mind till I forget about it. I had a dream once about a tarantula crawling up my chest while I was asleep, and even though I could see it, I'd lost my voice - that pretty much scarred me for life. Another time, a lightweight spider found it's way into my room at a B&B and was crawling up my bedsheet when I saw it and screamed like a female fan at a justin bieber concert. I had to sleep in the bathroom that night - that's how extreme my phobia is. I also accidentally touched a cockroach yesterday when I trying to take out a glass from the cabinet, and couldn't sleep all night. I find centipedes extremely creepy as well.

@warp: yikes. Was that a student project?

@val: spiders and roaches are animals. They aren't vertebrates, endotherms or mammals, but they are animals.

Snakes, yes, I do think they're cute. Spiders? Ehhh...if they stay away from me. Like, that guy in the picture is sorta cute, but since we get a lot of brown recluses out here, I usually squash first and ask questions later.

Same, Masteb. I love most arthropods aside from my exception of roaches. I understand some are truly bizarre looking but I had this coworker who was so dang afraid of any bug or spider that showed up. She even screamed at a katydid. It's such a cute thing!

And cockroaches because of reasons that I posted somewhere in this forum lol.
How much are you willing to part with so that the location of this post stays "safe" ? :)

I used to be terrified of dogs, I'm still kind of bothered when they're really loud and quite big but most of the time it's not really a big deal anymore.  Nowadays I'm more scared of sea creatures, specifically the more dangerous/hidden ones.  To put it briefly, I had a very bad experience with a spiderfish once and I could have lost my foot or even my whole leg had the people working at that beach not been so quick to act.

Idly noting that Australia's deadliest spider apparently is one of the nonvenomous ones...

Great Huntsman spiders, who apparently have taken a liking to popping out under the driver's seat to say hello and thank the driver for their hospitality... while in traffic... >_>

Lol. But I thought the deadliest spider in Aussieland was the Funnel-Webbed spider (which is very venomous and likes to get in people's gloves and shoes). :p

Note the difference between "most deadly poison" and "highest kill count". :p

^This page is going to give me nightmares :(

Spiders and snakes scare the hell out of me. Fish, wasps, dogs all fine, but those two and I'll go :o

Doesn't help that we found a queen in the bathroom :/ same last year and the year before, threw her out but no clue how she was getting inside with all the doors and windows locked, ugh.

There are certainly creatures out there that are creepy...used to be terrified of spiders, but I grew out of that and now find them to be quite fascinating. I'll even go out of my way to let the little guys out of the house safely!

There is, however, one creature that stirs me to kill...a vile thing that, upon catching my eye, must die. A "kill on sight" critter, if you will. The house centipede. I don't FEAR the things, but I am compelled to kill them any time I see them. I'll go out of my way to see to it that they die, even if they're not in my home. Yeah...it's that bad.

Oh, and bed bugs. Quite convinced they're the devil's spawn, the hatred of all things good and just manifested into one singularity. Yeeeeaahh...had a bad experience with them a few years back that's obviously left my traumatized to a degree. XD

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
