What I'm trying to accomplish is during a battle, having the enemy battlers constantly moving regardless if they're attacking or in the idle position (this is present in Pokémon Black/White). I've heard there was a previous thread of this matter a few years ago but I couldn't find any links to the script on that thread.

Front view or side view?
Actors and/or enemies?
Do you have the sprite sheets for full animation or do you just mean that the battler image (like the default battlers) moves a bit?

We ask that people give a full description of what they want, and not rely on saying "like in game X", because even with a well-known franchise like Pokemon, there are many millions of people who have not played the game(s) mentioned. I have a number of ideas of what might work, but as I haven't played Pokemon Black/White I have no way of knowing which would be the most appropriate suggestion to make.

If you are unsure how to describe it, a short video showing the battlers you mean would be fine.

The enemies are in a front view and only the enemies are in view during battles, so only the enemies are animated. The animations are basically two different alternating frames.

That reduces the options considerably.
The only script that is still around (that I know of) is the one by Meowface which you can find here. However, the formatting has been messed up, so it needs someone to put it into the correct lines.

Could anyone reading this thread help out here?

@Kes I went to do just that and saw that there is a post just under the main one which is formatted properly.

@Roninator2 That's what I get for checking things too quickly on my phone. Thank you for that.

@DankRat Will that script do you?

It wasn't exactly what I was looking for. The animation is basically flipping the image. What I need is using my sprite sheet, that it's like a walk cycle

So it sounds like you want either Theo's sideview battlers system, or victors animated battlers

Will it work with a forward view? In other words, not a sideways battle system

So you just want a stepping animation on the battlers that are facing you? Not showing your player characters, just the enemy?

Do you have a sample battler image for this?

So far I have the default sprites that come with RMVXA
You want those map sprites as battler facing in frontview battle and having a stepping animation on it?
Or do you have other spritesheet format in your mind?

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
