Animated Enemies

    I honestly don't know the engine, but I thought that there was a reason it was SV only. But since it works in both...I can deal with the workflow (putting art that is technically for FV into the SV folder is OK for me)

    i don't plan on a game that uses both SV and FV in same game, so I don't think it will cause a conflict. Even if I did I could just use special enemies for that scenario..

    I think i can close my request for animated front view....having lots of fun with this. Makes front view much more bearable because now I have at least some feedback about attacks and damage.

    I love that breathing effect, great work!

    I really thought it was SV only since I took a lot of the classes from the SV actors, but apparently it isn't! This is probably the best news I've received about this plugin since it makes it even more versatile than I originally thought.

    Would you guys mind if I go ahead and release the update despite the new note tags not working? That way you can have the breathing effect a lot sooner.

    The breathing animations seem to be working fine. Don't know why I keep getting this syntax error though.

    Whoops. I missed a bracket. Sorry about that.

    Edit - Just updated it to add the missing bracket. Should be fine now.

    delete...i have no idea what happened. Things are OK.

    I do have a request. could you put the version of the plugin at the beginning of the plugin description? It's hard to gauge which one you have installed sometimes.

    Not exactly sure if I am just being a moron or if there is a conflict, but my static enemies are not breathing. Tried turning off all of my other plugins, tried re-inserting the yanfly compatability script, yet no luck :/

    @Rexal Noo, I updated already. It's working OK. I downloaded again and it is fine.

    And the static breathing is cool too! Great add!

    Looking at our post times we cross posted and you  might have had a cached version of the thread that wasn't updated...I did check twice before posting as I know we need to replicate the problem before reporting it..but I can't tell which version of the plugin I am testing and that might help some.

    The weapon is "kind of" better than the last one for the enemy battler. Now she strikes forward before the reverse strike in my previous images.

    Yesterday I forgot to save. That may be it. Also make sure you're updating your plugins correctly.

    for the breathing animation, one day I would add an exposed variable for the end user to adjust, something simply like a 1-10 scale maybe. For my characters the breathing is extreme whether I have the agility factor on or off. but it's got great potential.

    Yeah, I guess me changing the thread's name might of caused a problem or two...

    And yeah, I'll go ahead and the version number to the description. I meant to do that earlier but I kinda...forgot (>>)

    Breathing animation control is actually already implemented(it's "Breath Control: speedScale,xScale,yScale"), but for some reason the function that controls the animation won't recognize it, even though the plugin itself does...

    But yeah, I definitely want to get that done asap,  especially since enemies have so many different shapes and sizes the default breathing settings won't ever look perfect on all of them.

    Oh I did not know that...thanks for the info!

    I hate to give you anything else to do...but could you put that instruction in the help part of the plugin so I could see it when I press the help button. I love help info!

    I've been following this, and am excited to use it, but I'm waiting for hopefully more parts & pieces in the Character Generator, so making enemies would result in much more interesting and diverse enemies...

    I am making my own enemies :) I know that isn't something everyone is going to do, but I am a firm believer in only waiting on stuff you can't do. I've been working on my own system to make assets that conform to the sprite sheet template used by actors. and when Rexal gets around to enhancing animation support OMG yes, OMG. 

    If you have time to tinker, I would now. Might help Rexal find some bugs maybe?
