Wait...this whole time...It didn't actually show the help...

    *extreme headdesk*

I totally put the @help thing in the wrong spot of the plugin so MV didn't actually recognize it as the help section. Nice going, me. I forgot to add information about that notetag anyway so it doesn't really matter, but still...

Thanks a lot for this plugin. i like static enemies so it's really nice the breathing effect. but asking...there's a freature on rpg maker 2k3. that's a floating animation for enemies. it's possible to make that in this plugin? well thanks in advance ♥ it's a great plugin! i love it \o/

and here is a example of the effect.
jump to 11:00 to see th boss battle.

    Version 1.08!

    The breathing notetags work now!

Added! Thankfully it was similar enough to the breathing effect that it was really easy to do. Just use [Float].

Okay, so apparently with Yanfly Battle Core, enemies with [Float] that attack will fly right off the screen, never to return. Oops. I'll fix that asap.

    Edit - Fixed

So I decided to update all of my plugins before going to bed and I updated all of the yanfly plugins as well as downloaded your latest plugin and this is what I ran into when fighting a static enemy. Strangely enough the animated battler fights still occur normally. I'm not sure if this is a plugin conflict or something I did without realizing it (was trying to get [float] to work and discovered it wasn't just [float] that was broken but all my static enemies).

EDIT : So I disabled the yanfly core (ver 1.03) and battle engine (ver 1.07) and it worked fine. Judging by how the battle engine was recently updated by Yanfly I'm going to guess the plugins currently conflict.

Yeah, it looks like Yanfly changed some things that broke the patch. I'll see what I can do.

EDIT - Wait, no. I uploaded the wrong version. Sorry about that.

EDIT 2 - Just updated the right version this time. Let me know if that fixes it.

Yep, that fixed it. Just ran 3 types of battles:one static with float, one static without float, and one animated battler and they seem to be working now.

I really, really need to stop and fully review my updates before and while I'm releasing them, but I get so excited when they actually work I can't help but send it to github right away...

It's a bad habit of mine.

If it's a single image, you don't need the [sV Actor] tag.

This plugin doesn't automatically animate non-SV sprites, unless you just want the breathing or floating animations. The plugin is currently trying to draw from a sprite sheet that is formatted identically to the player SV sprites, but bat.png is just one static image, so it's not going to work.

You need to either use a spritesheet created in the Character Generator, or make a sprite sheet of your own for the bat.

Side note: Any ideas on the clicking issue yet, Rex?

EDIT: Sorry if I confused you, DF. I assumed you were trying to utilize the primary spritesheet-related function of the plugin, not the breathing animation.

I thought it works with single images? That was my impression, any ways the bat tags are: [sV Animated] and SV Motion: motion No where in the docs did I see a "you need to a make a sprite sheet"

Actually, they do now! Check the front page to see it in action.

Also no. It works for animated static enemies, but not the SV ones. I'm still not sure why, but I might have an idea of how to fix it.

Like I said, for single images you don't need any tags. Breathing animations are applied to the enemy automatically.

When I didnt use tags, The bat didnt move or do anything...

The bat does move towards me, but i'm not sure if thats default behaviour. He doesn't breath like you show on the front page

Just Yanflys Battle Engine Core, AI, Item, Equip and message. All your other stuff is below those scripts, your animations work for say a character sheet. they don't tags. But your bat doesn't even float or breath or do anything.

I have all of those plugins enabled and have them in a similar load order.

Are you sure that the plugin is up-to-date, set to 'ON', that the game has been saved, and that the breathing function isn't disabled in the plugin options? There have been a lot of people coming forward with issues recently, only to realize they forgot to save or something.

Here's what it looks like in my database testing these out. The normal sprites don't need any tags. I'd try disabling all of your other plugins except this one to see if it works at all. And as I learned yesterday, don't forget to save.
