Almost sounds like you have an older version, then. In the plugin's description, does it say "Version: 1.08"?

Just checked it with a completely new project, it worked fine. Added the scripts you mentioned, still worked fine. Threw it into my game's project, worked fine.

The only thing I can think of is that you have an older version, but if you recently downloaded it, that shouldn't be the case. I'm not sure why it isn't working for you.

Ok, just read the whole thread, turned all other plugins off, but no breathing

I've got version 1.08, no errors, and no idea why it isn't working

Haven't checked in for a while, to avoid reading through everything and getting confused- what has been changed as of late?

Also might be irrelevant to animations, but could enemy's have there own individual sounds aswell? So for example killing an enemy doesn't make the same generic sound effect?

Couple of points. Float for the yanfly plugin keeps them in place till you tell them to float 0% later on. It's very useful.

Not sure if you fixed that conflict. If I were to use float I would use it with the yanfly plugin myself and keep this plugin just for animated and breathing.

Regarding the question about adding sounds...I think that would be a different plugin honestly. I even think floating should be kept separate...but at least I can see how people would consider that animation. Sound certainly is not animation.

Yep. (though you are right I don't think they have posted terms)

Awesome update, no bug for me (don't use the float addon).

The sv animated actors work perfectly, however, I cant get the breathing static enemys to breathe

By default they have no notetags set to them.

Kinda confused on how I make static enemies animated.

Has anyone got an example by chance?

What are you trying to do? Have static enemies "breathe"?

    Yeah.

I'm using yanfly's battle engines and that's pretty much it in terms of battle orienting things. I'm messing around with this plugin, but no results.

for me they breathe by default. no settings needed. Is the animated plugin below the yanfly ones, and do you have the yanfly compatibility plugin installed as well?

So it seems like a fair few amount of people are reporting that the statics aren't animating, but others are also reporting that they are....I'm not sure what's going on, but it looks like I'll have to put on my detective hat and do some sleuthing.

Come on, I put my name under the plugin's and everything... >>)

I've added support for animating single-image enemies, and found out this plugin works in Front View as well. but other than that not a lot has changed.

Sound's a bit out of range for this plugin, yeah.

Well, it's not like you have to use the float tag :p It's just there for people who need it.

I don't really feel the need to ask for credit with these plugins since
a( These are modified from the main code. and
b( My name is plastered throughout the entirety of the script.

Just the fact that people are wanting to use them and thanking me makes me satisfied. Just don't claim it as your own and it's all good.

    Yeah, I have.

Is there anything I need to do prior? Because all I've done is pasted the github text onto notepad then saved the document as animatedenemies.js. Then placed that folder into where I normally put in plugins.

I totally get that but I thought I read there was an issue if you used yanfly's float. Haven't had time to test and I could have misread.

Thanks for adding version numbers to the description helps confirm I got the right stuff in there. And also thanks for clarifying your terms :)

Is anyone else having issues with battler positioning with the latest versions of Yanfly and Rexal's plugins? With Rexal's plugin off positioning is as expected with Yanfly's reposition feature. With it on they seem to go back to to top right. I have replicated this a few times. (save close, reopen, etc, breathing disabled)

More testing shows it works for Animated enemies fine. Breathing enemies have positioning issues.

@YEEART I would put the yanfly compatibility fix after the core ANimated plugin.

Also download the zip file instead of making your own versions. I think naming and casing are very important.

This is wrong. It's named animatedSVEnemes.js Just download the zip it will spare you trouble.

The formatting breaks if you copy it from git manually. It adds some junk to the files and makes them unusable.
