animated Gif for title screen image?

SO I wanted to run a test to see if the engine would allow me to use an animated gif for a title screen image. Turns out it doesn't quite work.

But in the future I may decide I want to spruce up the title screen of my game with an animated gif instead of a static image.

But the question is this: Is it even possible?

Oh man, now that looks even cooler. Yeah that'll work even though it looks considerably more complex.

Edit: I almost forgot. What are the terms of use on the script? It has to be available for commercial use.

I didn't know Moghunter had this version out there ! Sadly, the Background waving effect isn't working for me I really needed it T.T
