Animation Blend type normal(problem)

I was trying to make an animation with the new animation graphics. So I crop out the animation graphic with the program Paint

and the background was black, for some reason I can't change it back to white completely excluding the graphics. So I just

import the animation and blend it to normal but the background color remains. How do you fix this? Thank you for your time!

How did you import it? With the resource manager or did you put it in your project folder?

you either make it transparent (use magic wand for example to select the black part, then hit delete) and save as .png (using Paint.net, gimp or photoshop for example), or if you save it as .jpg import it via the resource manager and it would allow you to select a color which will become transparent...

with the program Paint

MS Paint does not support transparency, it's much better to use another program. If you can't buy Photoshop, then use GIMP or Paint.net or one of the other free grafic programs. Then make the background transparent in the program and save as PNG.
You might have to go back to your original source for the picture if you have problems removing the current background.

How did you import it? With the resource manager or did you put it in your project folder?

I imported it with the resource manager. Did I made a mistake there?

Yeah, I might try to use photoshop or GIMP although I never used it before! 

Thanks for all of your ideas but it would be good if there is an easier way to fix it!

try Paint.net... it has quite the Paint feel...
