So, whenever I use an attack skill, another animation appears on the user before using the specified animation on the enemy.

In order to help with this we're going to need way more information: what plugins are you using? What animation appears? Is this just *any* attack skill? There isn't enough here to diagnose the problem.

The animation that is used is number 52, and it happens with any skill, except for the ones that are labeled as "certain hits" (i.e. healing spells).

Check the parameters in YEP Battle Engine Core for an animation setting that's set to 52.
