Any games/examples of decently long fight scenes made only with eventing/move routes?

I was wondering if there are any more examples or guides on this topic. AFAIK it seems like a pretty niche things and I can't find any content regarding fight battle cutscenes that don't invoke an actual player battle. If they do use this style, it's usually short. I'm looking for something a lot longer (like an anime battle) with dialogues and stuff mixed in.

This is the only example I could find and it was really cool:

Mostly looking for alternative ways to show battles in my game that are part of the cutscenes, since for these specific battles I want the player to see the narrative unfolding and not just play it.

What you see in your video is called an ABS (Action Battle System) in the RPGM-Community, and those are by default short - a single battle in an ABS is always short because you expect to have hundreds of them in an action-type game.

You might have confused this with a sideview battle using action sequences - those are not on the map but can look similar. However there are very few such battlescripts available for Ace as Sideview was only made a focus with MV and MZ later.

If that is what you're interested in you should try to find "Battle Engine Symphonie" for VXA.

The last option that was its own style and similar was done by Moghunter, but always had problems of a very short documentation that didn't tell people how to use those scripts.
You can try to find Moghunter's demo for VXAce - his scripts were never distributed outside the demo, that is part of the problem as everyone had to find out from the demo how to make them work.

EDIT:
and no, those scenes are not done by moveroutes at all, only cutscenes with fixed scenes could be done with move routes)

@Andar I think fixed scenes is exactly what the OP is after. They'd just like to see examples of the kind of "on map fixed battle cutscenes" that people have "directed".

Don't have any examples, but if the OP thinks the example video is cool, it's not too hard to play around with move routes+speed changes, animations, sound effects and screen tints to try and create something similar to follow the video and build from there.

Yeah this is exactly what I meant, was just seeing if there are any games known for this so I can take aspirations from. From my experience playing RPGM these directed action scenes are not common.

So, I am getting really good at finding loop points for making audio seamlessly loop. I am rarely off lately and when I am, it is usually a split second or less.

A decade ago, I would kill to know how to do this. Not for game dev but back when I was actively making music for singing.
