I realized I lack the skills to make cool dungeons, is there anyone here who is good at making dungeons?
maybe they can share nice tips or videos to help me create better ones? Even pictures would help since sometimes I don't comprehend explanations very well. Bad thing about being a visual learner lol

Yeah, download my game.
It has 14 dungeons.
I like that style of making them in a certain way. Have teleports/movable tiles/ladders. Stuff like that.

You learn by watching and you experience by doing. Same goes for me.

There are a lot of mapping tutorials. Or you can post what you made in the screenshot feedback thread and ask for tips.

Moving to General Discussion

as your question is not specifically about help with MV, but more to do with design.

I believe there is a plugin to create dungeons. Driftwood gaming has a tutorial about it.

I would rephrase the question to be "What makes a dungeon, good?"
That would spark an interesting discussion :p

Maybe but if all else fails, I may look to higher someone to make them for me. So anyone who believes they can make really good dungeons. Put in screenshots or videos of their dungeons.
Since if I fail to understand and improve I may be contacting one of y'all to make them for me

Link is in my signature, just click on the picture.

I made you a map if you like:
map.png

A5 Dung1.png
LairD2.png
Settings.png
Settings2.png

Download the file "Map006.rar". it is attached. (Rename it if you like it to a free mapspace in your game).
Place map6 into your RPG folder\data\
place the tileset "A5 Dung1.png" and "LairD2.png" in your RPG folder\img\tilesets
Place the tileset "A5 Dung1.png" as A5 (Normal) and as D tile.
Place the tileset "LairD2.png" as E tile.

That's it !

There's an app I use called ProDnD. Despite its name, it has a free version for both Apple and Android.

It generates dungeon maps for you, and you can choose a number of useful parameters such as how large you want it to be, how many entrances/exits, and whether you want the style to be of a constructed dungeon, a natural cavern, etc.

It's not plug-and-play with RPG Maker, you have to look at the map and recreate it in the editor, but I quite like the maps it generates.

Alberest so far, got a lot done but still ALOT left to do.
Wish I had a better means of taking screenshots...
Map is 148x98

concept: zombie slayer fest.

Lag because of outdated hardware.

Lots todo:
-Terrax lightning should have another step for the flashlight, between up down left right.
-Also Online mv from Nelderson should emit the flashlight from the other player.
-Animation needed for killing the zombie...
Before adding it to #crypchania.
Working on a case. Get all the evidence to prosecute some bad guys. :kaojoy:
But, the game development schedule delayed. :kaoswt2:

just beat ff7 original for the first time since 2010. having played remake last year, I have a much better appreciation for the original oddly enough. I still like some of the character presentation in remake more, but the original's got a lot going for it.
