Dreaming Mary. If anything, I was greatly impressed by its use of sound design - which is something often ignored in RPGmaker games.
Last Word was one I really enjoyed. It's a really unique system; mind you I'm not sure how the free version is like as I played the version on Steam. I really enjoyed the storytelling in this one a lot and that was part of what kept me captivated with it.

Last one I suppose - it's pretty hit and miss, but I found it to be really interesting and a nice approach to story telling. It's less of a direct story and more of a "form it in your head based on the choices you make and what you're told." So it involves some creative input:
