Any LARPS people around here?

So, as the title explain a bit, I'm curious about if there's some LARPS people around, for people who don't know. LARP means Live Actoin Role-Playing. Many universes and all can be used, but medieval/fantansy is really popular/used. Here in Quebec, the popularity of those have grown quite a lot!~ So I was wondering peoples opinions about it and questions.. stuff.. <3

I believe live action role playing takes place in the youth for whatever reason.

I run and play in several LARPs. I've done alittle boffer (live foam combat) but mostly they are theater LARPs. I also do SCA which is a form of medieval reenactment in away.

Part of me wants to walk around with a circlet and a leaf in it yelling "Aero 3!" at people, but part of me thinks I'm dorky enough already.

A friend of mine wanted to dress up as Frodo and me as Gandalf but we never went through with it. He would have been a perfect Frodo, though. And I can see myself as Gandalf.

No offense to people who LARP, I'm probably just as dorky as you I just hide it. A little.

Okay now I need to do it to make up for calling you guys dorks.

Haha~ Everyone have it's opinion and it's fine, most of my friends are doing LARPS too and my family take it a big negativily. I mostly see it has improvisation camping, depending of the settings of the event. 'Cause some of them are post apocalyptic too, dystopiean futures too.

I mutter the latin curses of the wizard from iron and blood, but I think Larping is like playing Ghostbusters or stuff for no reason, other than television video game imitation when you are 4-6
