Any tips on effectively using the 2k3 RTP?

So I've been playing around with my copy of 2k3 and I was trying to make an interesting building with the RTP, also trying to figure out how to use the ship chipset.   Any tips on identifying how parts are meant to be used.    Like the  Roof tiles for example seem a bit non-interchangable.    As for the ship it is just very confusing to look at.

So any tips, or maybe someone's guide to using the RTP?  It seems like something everyone should be able to do but the layout of tiles are different than say XP and VXA

Tilesets and some other stuff are notcompatible.


You can use music and Battlers though.

I don't think Steigrudar meant he was going to use the tiles in Ace.

There are 3 types of roof per color, slanted, front and flat.  Their key to use is working with the second layer that has the corners.  Um, the ship is a bit confusing, it may be easiest to understand with pure trial and error.  It's still new to me too.

Import it into Photoshop and change it's color palette, and modify it heavily I'd say.

Yeah - i couldn't figure those things out either.  That ship...no matter how I tried, i could not make it look like a ship.  I'm hoping that someone who is very familiar with 2k/2k3 will make a tutorial!

Well, truth be told, there are MANY many rpg maker games that you could download, open up and use as reference material.
