I wonder if it's possible to add new graphics in the generator.
I'd like to know as well, if anyone has any more details on this?
I'm definitely excited, not excited I won't be able to make games due to work though. Glad I have Thursday and Friday off. Not sure if I will play Ace, Yakuza: Dead Souls or Tales of Graces f more.

Before VX Ace was announced, I checked the internet like every other week to see if there's something new. So, yeah, I'm truly excited now that the release is just around the corner.

They said that due to the way the pieces (files) in the generator are structured, it's easy to add/edit them.
I'll check it out in more depth once I get my hands on Ace.
I'm fairly excited. Mostly because not only do I have 2 days to play with it without interruption but, as well, after the weekend, I have 4 days straight non-stop of working on it (mostly graphics work, but work none the less!). Hopefully this'll also be the first time I fully learn one of the RGSS languages since my project is going to include a lot of custom scripting that will need large amounts of compatibility (a pixel based movement system using images for collision mapping, a real time battle system compatible with said movement system, just to name the biggest compatibility issues).
Can't wait, I hope it is going to be as great as i thinks going to be.
I'm very excited as well! I can't wait to really start working on the game I have planned... and fiddling with the generator to see if it'll accomodate my template so I can easily make NPCs.
I'm excited as well! Especially with the changes that have been made since VX. Trying to cram more details into my Design Document before Ace hits so I can hit the ground running, but I get the feeling after I set up a framework I'm going to have to keep writing a bit. XD Mustn't rush through Pre-Production!
Im in much the same situation Reynard, currently making sure everything is in place for the first basic map designs/scripts etc...
Im also considering moving onto parallax mapping (Something ive avoided in the past) thanks to that stunning Steampunk set by Celianna and Lunarea.
First thing I have to do when it's released is just quickly check all my scripts are compatible but then I am going to dive right into making a game.
Anyone know if its going to be released at midnight tonight or just sometime tomorrow? Just so i know when i have to sleep.
Been making rpg's since rpgmaker 95. Can't wait for this new installment!
