Anyone familiar with these 1st Person RPG scripts?

I've been looking for a script that allows me to make a FPRPG in VX Ace like the old (Wizardry, Bard's Tale, Swords and Serpents) games.

I found two scripts; FPLE and 3d_25

FPLE is in French and 3d_25 is in Japanese, so i'm having problems understanding the documentation even through Google translate.

The issue i'm having with FPLE is that I don't know how to set a graphic for the walls. I can see the assets in the folders and the map editor, but the only thing i see on the actual map is the floor tile and the event images for doors and chests. It's important for me to decorate the walls as to offer markers to better navigate the labyrinth.

The problem i'm having with 3d_25 is that the Japanese characters are not translating into Windows and are being replaced with other characters when you import the file. This is keeping the script from referencing to any assets that use Japanese characters in their name. I would really like to understand how to use 3d_25 for it seems to be the more powerful of the two.

If anyone has any experience with these two scripts or perhaps have found a FPRPG script in English, i would appreciate any assistance.
