Hello Meow :3

Does anyone know a good free video Capturing program ? I use Bandicam but I don't like that water mark at the top. Somebody please help this poor kitten!  ;_;   ;_;   ;_;   ;_; Also I've tried a few others but they are laggy and cannot capture my computer screen smoothly. :(

Thank You Meow~ :3

Livestream's own app does a pretty good video capture, and you don't have to livestream at the same time as recording the screen AFAIK.

I think OBS has a recorder in it rather then a boradcasting as well. May be wrong though.

It does. It works very well too! But it doesn't work with RM for some reason, nor does it work with its Game.exe

.Actually it does work with RM, just not in windowed mode. in deskstop capture mode it does, but you see eeeverything.

Really? OBS works just fine for me when recording RM games, even in windowed mode.

OBS is fairly easy to use when you understand the scene and what not. You don't choose Game.exe you chose the window, you can then select a region out of that window. However I would not recommend this is you do choose to record a full screen :p . You can also make a background transparent, as you can pop out a chat window and use a coloed background (or white by default) to make it transparent.

It is very good for it's price (free :) )

Eh I might as well tell you how to do it as well:

Right click in the sources box, Add New > Window Capture > (name it whatever you wish) > Choose your options. :)

For video of computer screens I am very happy with screencast-o-matic.

I use the inexpensive paid version now, but there is a free version I have used as well.

OBS will do the job. Check it, it's free. Also check what Bloodmorphed said about scenes and watch youtube tutorials to find out what you can do.

Bandicam is pretty decent. The free version only allows 10 minute recording intervals and has the watermark added on. The paid version removes these limitations, but it's not terribly expensive, making it a pretty decent capture compared to other higher priced ones.

If you have a nvidia card, then shadow play is very good. It's entirely hardware based so has almost no lag.

Although, Fraps is pretty cheap if you can scrounge up the 40 some odd bucks. It's one time pay, every update is free past that. :p . Just a little food for thought.

Sounds like HyperCam and OBS are alternative. (and it seems HyperCam allow to text annotation)

I usually use Bandicam and dont even bother with the watermark.

Yes. I would just try the recommended one and see if that works.

camstudio.
This baby must be downloaded STRAIGHT FROM SOURCEFORGE.

Otherwise you risk malware adware and stupidware installations along with it

Even the site camstudio.org contains a contaminated file.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
