Hello.
I am new to RPG Maker, but I feel that in the past week, I have learned so much just by playing with the system and reading these forums. However, I stumbled upon something that really feels more like a bug as opposed to me not knowing what I'm doing. If this belongs in a different category, feel free to move it.
I am trying to set up a boss battle where the boss summons smaller enemies to come battle alongside him. Everyone online seems to be in agreement. I need to place the "summonable" enemies in the troops screen, and make them appear "halfway." I created a common event that the boss uses via a skill I gave him called "Summon Minions." The common event itself is what uses the "Enemy Appear" function, bringing my "halfway there" enemies to the screen. It works...sort of. But now, when my battler elects to use a move that affects all the enemies, once I'm asked to choose a target (which in this case would be all the enemies) the invisible minions appear on screen, and stay there. They can't do anything or be affected by anything until they've been officially summoned. But they remain visible. Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong?
You can see just what I'm talking about in the image I'm uploading with this post. The enemies without names weren't there until I clicked on the magic skill "Spark."
