I am making generator bodies and parts for non-human actors in RPG Maker MV.

TERMS OF USE


- Please credit ArbitraryGuy.


- For use for non-commercial games only.


- To use, you must own RPG Maker MV


INSTRUCTIONS


To use these files in your generator, follow the instructions below.  Warning: always make back-ups of files you're replacing.

1) Go to the generator folder KADOKAWA/RPGMV/Generator


2) To use my non-human bodies, you'll be replacing the human bodies with non-human bodies.  If you ever want to use human bodies again, you need to back them up.  These are the files to back up:


SV/Male/SV_Body_p01.png
SV/Male/SV_Body_p01_c.png
TV/Male/TV_Body_p01.png
TV/Male/TV_Body_p01_c.png
TVD/Male/TVD_Body_p01.png
TVD/Male/TVD_Body_p01_c.png
SV/Female/SV_Body_p01.png
SV/Femle/SV_Body_p01_c.png
TV/Female/TV_Body_p01.png
TV/Female/TV_Body_p01_c.png
TVD/Female/TVD_Body_p01.png
TVD/Female/TVD_Body_p01_c.png


3) Replace the above files in the generator folder with the files from the zip.  (Alternatively, you could make multiple "Generator" folders, e.g. one with human bodies and one with skeleton bodies and rename to switch between them.  Although less obvious, I think that's the easiest way, personally.)


4) Enjoy your non-human battlers.  You can change skin color and the eye color in the generator.



SKELETONS





Below are generator bodies for skeletons (side-view battlers, map characters, and damaged map characters).  The side-view battlers and damaged map characters are my own feeble creation using the original Kadokawa body base.  For map characters, I used, with permission, skeletons from GeoffreyD's clean ups of Kadokawa's original skeleton.

Some caveats on the skeletons:


- The skeleton heads are narrower than the human battlers (no skin, fat, muscle etc), so not all hair styles and not all accessories will properly fit.


- The side-view battler bodies aren't "skeleton" style bodies.  That's beyond the level of my artistic talent.  Besides, any self-respecting skeleton would be dressed in clothes!


- Please note, I do not do faces (again, that's beyond the level of my artistic talent).

I think these are cute and well made! He looks adorable. Thank you for sharing with us. Think you can make a horned skeleton? ;)

Hey,nice to meet you :) @ArbitraryGuy  Nice done the skeleton part.I can give you an idea,if you want to be easiest to import those files into generator,without replacing default ones from Kadokawa. You can simply rename the SV/TV/TVD parts,as BEAST MARKS,like @hiddenone made with her impresive creatures.You can check her link right here,to have an idea what I am talking about.


So the renamed files will become:SV_BeastMark_p01   TV_BeastMark_p01   TVD_BeastMark_p01

I thought about doing it that way.  Unfortunately, since the skeleton bodies have narrower heads than the human bodies (no skin, fat, muscle), doing it like hiddenone and using beast marks produces skeleton heads "on top of" human bodies in the SV animation.  You can see the human cheeks poking through below:





There is a similar problem in the map characters, too.  Skeletons don't have ears and a nose, but if you use beast markets, the human ears and nose show through like below:





Although this is definitely the case with the skeletons, this may not be the case for my orc and minataur heads (remains to be seen).

Yes,as you said,the skeleton head is bigger than the human head,I don't know,anyway you did a great job and I waiting to see more from you ^^

There is no variation icon, because variations are not used with bodies (as far as I can tell).

Well, with things like Schlangan's generator, and with the general MV user community, I'm not sure file names are the most important.


Also these are AWESOME!! Keep it up!  :D
