Hi, I'm Arcanus. I'm new to the forum but I'm familiar with RPG Maker Series for years now. I want to share my talent to the community by sharing my own drawn RTP Battlers as an alternate use. (If you're tired of seeing of Sprite Battlers). I'm planning to make the whole RTP Hero Characters so far I only have 1 finished which is Harold. But as time goes by I will produce more and more battlers for you guys to use.

Why Skeletal Animation instead of Sprites you say?
Skeletal Animation gives you smaller sizes of files per battler and gives you more room to animate the frames, and it is also very smooth in animation.

Before you use this, make sure you are familiar to Dragonbones. You can read more about it here: http://yanfly.moe/2017/08/04/yep-150-dragonbones-integration-rpg-maker-mv-2/

Download Files consists of the ske.json, tex.json and tex.png which needs to be in dragonbones_assets folder to work and together with an HTML Preview File with Real and Higher Quality Animations, and a text file that lists the credits and terms of usage.
You can also animate your own movements for your own customization needs (Advance Users) But each time I release a battler It will consist of the basic movements and poses such as Attacking, Defending, Idle Pose, Using Item, Victory Pose, Weak, Sleep, Dead, etc.

Note: Preview GIFs are not the real quality of the battler as you know GIF tends to limit the color display in the animation. For best view download file and open in Dragonbones.

Final Note:
Battlers released will be random and not in Ascending Order, I might ask sometimes If who you want to see next or I'll choose in my likings and mood. I plan on releasing one weekly (Every Monday) but forgive me if I fail to post in weekly terms as I might be busy sometimes and drawing and animating it is really time consuming. If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions feel free to post in this thread.

Continuing with my goals of making Animated RTP Battlers, I've drawn the Actor3_8/Marsha

I was wondering what's the name of the other battlers. (aside from HTML names of the Default Party Members, have they been named?)
Anyway time to animate her in Dragonbones...

Yes they have to be, its part of the dragonbones sequence.

Decided to make Actor2_1 (RTP09)

Do you think he is a spear type warrior?
I'm trying to stick with one weapon for each actors (which most will find limiting) but seriously making more than 1 weapon for an armature is A LOT OF WORK and i mean A LOT from animating them each poses holding different weapon is a pain in the ass.

Anyway, once I am able to pull off atleast 4 Battlers with complete poses. I'll make a demo download for you guys to see the default sequence of the animations. I still need more motivation from you guys to keep me at least interested in continuing this RTP Project ;)

I believe this is ****loads of work... This is very close to 3D animation I guess in terms of difficulty.
Thank you for your effort!

I wonder if Yanfly can add "attachment" ability to this plugin. So you can add another image to your animation texture and parent to a bone of the skeleton at runtime?
Same way you would attach a gun to a human in 3D?
Btw he never mentioned this drawback in DragonBones vs Animated SV. That you can't change weapons.
