So, a few weeks ago in my test project I got a rudimentary archery skill working in the game (with some assistance here, of course, thank you all very much!), and I hesitated to come and ask for help again, but I've run into yet another issue with the same skill. The archery skill was built on the basis of the default 'fire' skill, since both involve single projectiles moving forward. I got this message when play-testing the game I planned to use the plugin in:

The game was built on top of the sample project, and the plugin files have been updated to their latest versions.

It's giving me the 'event not found' message... when the skill and event exist, which is why I'm so confused.

Here's the normal attack archery skill. This was done in an attempt to allow the character to use a bow and arrow/archery attack as the default 'normal' attack.

That is why I'm even more confused. I have no other plugins installed that could conflict.

In your pics database 'Archery" is skill ID 14 (ID 12 is empty), but then in your other pics you have the normal attack as skill ID 12 (and for some reason it shows the name 'Archery' there)? What's going on there?
(And also, does a correctly named event for the Archery skill still exist on the map where all your skills are created? Map ID 10 in the demo project.)

I actually solved that particular issue myself last night.
There was no event in the map with all the skills labeled 'archery' so I had to put one there myself :) Some of the hardest problems have the simplest solutions sometimes.

I’m so lucky! Simone got referred to a feline cardiologist and had I not called this morning the moment there was a cancellation the next opening would have been SEVEN months from now! Scalemail project is one step closer to completion. Ordered scales from a local metalworking company, ordered some split rings... now all I need is to wait. :>
