In this instance there is still an in game time in place (24h in a day 7 days a week etc.) and Overlays being used also.
I just want to know everyone's thoughts on a day and night cycle in game, is it essential, a benefit or is it moot to have one when you are playing?
Do you feel it essential to a games atmosphere that it does get light and dark according to time?
Are there more interesting alternatives that you use / you have seen people use?
I just want to know as I grow my own game, and look for the most optimal systems I can, is it worth it to implement this.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
