Are there any 8-bit music tracks available in the same style as the "8-bit Perfect Collection" DLC?

I'm making an 8-bit styled game, and I really like the "8-bit perfect collection" DLC pack, but there's not all that many songs in it, and a lot of them seem to be made for something like an action game rather than an RPG. I also checked out the "8bit Fantasy RPG Tracks volume 1" DLC but I didn't really like the composition in those. But yeah, I need BGMs, SEs, and all that other audio stuff for my 8-bit game, and whoever made the "8-bit perfect collection" did a pretty good job... I just need MORE of that. So yeah... is there any more from that composer in a similar style?

And if not... any idea where I can find a good, complete set of 8-bit music, sound effects, etc that sound authentic and have a large number of audio files?

Just have to make it into OGG. Also don't forgot to add ":" after the HTTP since it won't show up in the link for some reason.
Oh these are PERFECT! Thank you! But what are the terms of use for these files? I can't read Japanese...

Also hmm... I'm noticing that these fade out... if I make them oggs will they loop? Cause I mean... if they don't loop, then it's no good...

They're free for use in both free and commercial products. You can process them freely as well. If possible, credit them as PANICPUMPKIN. Don't sell/redistribute the files as-is.

I haven't listened to these, but if they aren't looping, then you may have to set loop points yourself. There are tutorials on how to do this. Here is a random one I pulled out of Google just now.

Thanks!

Well, I downloaded the wavs, and they fade out... but if I change the file type to .ogg, then they loop!

...Problem is... I think I may have broken something by doing this...

I seem to be unable to move or delete any of these files that I change from .wav to .ogg... Windows (10) Explorer just gets stuck infinitely and won't move, delete, or even cancel... So uh... what am I supposed to do? lol

Using audacity definitely fixed the problem! :D

And you guys are SURE he allows for commercial use right? I plan to make it a "pay what you want" game, so I won't be charging outright for it, but I still think that counts as "commercial use".

Also it's okay to change the names of the files right? Cause like, all the sound effect file titles come out as just garbled unicode nonsense, so I've been changing them to things like Attack01, Attack02, etc. Is that okay?

Just give me time to get home and I’ll link you to something that helps with that gibberish.

In the meantime, look up “mojibake zip file.”

Edit: I’ve been using this one.

Thank you, though I already went and renamed everything manually :p

Do you know of any other 8-bit sound effect resources? The music from Panic Pumpkin is great, though I feel like a lot of the SEs don't really feel very NES-like, but more Atari-like (and I need them to be NES-like).
