Thanks, ( im late with the reply)

I started in VX so im only buying vx ( i do know a vt mv script tho, but i would need to but both)

Not begging, but im broke(as I said) but, would someone mind buying me a copy, i will include you in the credits of every game i make, and if nescessary, give you a % of games sold until i work off the fee( Im fine with no)

If you are actually seeking an investor to sponsor you (in this case, to purchase the program or give you the money to do so) you should expect them to want more than just their money back, they want to see their money come back with a bit of an interest so it'd be worth their time. So, turning 60$ investment to profit for 100$+ for instance is something many investors would be on board for, obviously. It's also not a good idea to keep repeatedly telling that you and your family are poor, if anything in your contract and such go south, that is telling that you'll not be able to afford to hire a lawyer, so you can be approached by not so nice people who will give you unfavorable deals that will come biting you in the back in the future with you having absolute no way of defending yourself from the potential of foul play. Be cautious especially when promising to hand out royalty deals and stating that you're poor in same sentence. It's also kind of scaring away any potential investors, how can I make sure you'd pay me back if your project ends up never being finished? You're literally asking someone to put complete blind faith into a total stranger with no avatar and 91% of their posts only in this topic. Personally, I don't even know your gender, so lending you money in any form is kind of an issue. >_>

Honestly all of this is a lot of hassle for such a small sum. Seriously, you get about 7-8$ per hour for flipping burgers as a trainee for the first six months in most McDonald's and burger joints, so doing few days of that would already get you the money... :|

@Tuomo L Their first post stated that they were 13... relatively sure that's not an option, nor is entering into a contract anyway.

Well at that age, I'm not even sure they're legally able to offer a royalty contract which is what he suggested? :|

Please no discussion about begging or gifting programs

As mentioned by Shaz, that is not allowed.

@KingFerretDino

Please check this site:

https://isthereanydeal.com/

Especially Ace is on sale several times a year for up to 85% off on one or the other steam reseller.

If you wait a bit, you may get the chance to get it for as low as 10$ (or even lower if you get lucky), that should be managable for almost everyone, especially using birthday gifts or working a bit in the school holidays.

I have a few RPG Maker Steam keys that I've bought over the years during Steam sales or in Humble Bundles.  Am I allowed to sell one of these currently-unused keys to King at a price he can afford, so he can use the software?  Or is this against either the website's ToS or the EULA?  (If so, obviously I won't do so & sorry for my ignorance!!)

I've given away my extras before from Humble Bundles (as did quite a few others), and no one seemed to object. Remember Vox Day from last summer when we were all giving away our spares to the first to email us or post asking for it?

giving away keys or selling them is no problem - begging for keys is forbidden.

um, I started working at 9. as my grandpa said, laws never bothered me.

the other thing is, I did think of helping the kid out with a purchase for him on labor day, but he repeated himself so much I got turned away. So I don't really feel I wish to help the kid out.

I'm pretty sure you can be a paper boy and very simple stuff as "summer job" when you're 13 if it won't conflict with your studies. I remember my parents helped me when I was delivering papers as part time.

I think this topic has run its course and is now no longer needed.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
