I know it's an old script. But what are the terms? Can I use this in a commercial project? Any credits required or is it public domain?
I second Napoleon, I really would like to know the terms of this script.

This script looks fantastic and I'm thinking of using it in several of my projects, but I'm curious about something. Would it be possible to use this script to generate particles as effects for things like skills and status conditions? (For example animated flames when a character is on fire, or a beam which doesn't jarringly cut off at the end based on image size for an animation.)

Now this has me thinking about the possibilities on what I can do with this script. I'd like to see if I can set up an evented trap that fires a sweeping beam, which does damage on contact based on where it is.

Noticed small bug: Particles are rendered under "starred" tiles. Can anyone fix it?

This script is truly awesome!! I had a question that I don't think I saw answered here though, but is it possible to make the effects bigger? Like I want to make it look like a building is on fire for example...

Quick report: when calling Name Input Processing on a map with particle events running, the game crashes. The error cited is in eval of Game_Interpreter, so it's tough for me to figure out exactly where the problem lies.

I've also gotten this same crash when doing something completely different. I had about 6-8 particle effects set to display after a switch turns on. Once it does, the game crashes, same error in Game_Interpreter.

I noticed something really strange, the fires move towards the direction you run, so if you run left all fires in the map will point to left and vice versa for every single direction.

I third this motion! However, finding out might be pretty darn tricky. PK8 is taking a hiatus at the moment and Arevulopapo developed this back in 2007 and left no mention of terms... Unless we hear back from both PK8 (Hiatus) and Arevulopapo (missing in action / retired) we have no way of knowing terms of use for this script.

Having the same problem, but this only occurs on a specific map; the other ones work fine.


Any wonder why this is bugging?

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
