Description:

  • I decided to go hard on the introduction to give you an impression on what I specialize. My inspiration comes from the symphonic power metal band called "Rhapsody of Fire" but my style isn't like theirs. Whereas they are a power metal band, I am merely metal.

Just like Rhapsody of Fire, I had intended this and the rest of the songs that I'll be posting here to have a story but I'll leave the interpretation up to you. The titles and the songs themselves will probably help you out on that.

Description:

  • To make things a bit different, since the rules allow to submit entries in any order, I'll be posting the songs in an order that I think would best benefit the story, not in a numerical order as the theme list suggests. However, my arrangements will not dictate whatever story you have developed in your imagination.

  • Symphonic Metal will not be the only genre I'll upload. Heck, I might upload some techno in the future if the story deems it necessary. This one's completely orchestra with tons of percussion to give it that oomph.

  • I'll also limit the duration of my songs to less than 2 minutes to make it suitable for any RPGM projects that you might have. Also, I like to experiment in combining certain elements of different genres. Take this song for example. I used a dark borg-ish ambient feel coupled with orchestra percussions. I think it went well!

Very fine work, as a fun-punster I would say "note"-worthy. Introduction and unbreakable are my favs so far!

  • This is a new version of something I did way back for a platform game back then but never got into fruition. I pictured vast green valleys, high snowy mountains and basically a high fantasy landscape when making this.

These are good!

"Dead Wrong" got posted just as I was typing that previous sentence, and I'm glad I stopped typing to listen to it because it might be my favourite so far.  Though, to be honest, it's difficult to choose between them.

Well done, sir!

Description:

  • This is a remake of an old song I did for my Audio Drama. I lost the stem files for the old one so I had to recreate everything from scratch. The old one also had a lowered pitch while this one retains the original. I used EWQL Colossus' Male Choir for the Shouts.

  • I wanted this to be a continuation of "Wrath made Manifest" so I used some of the samples from the previous song on this one to give off a feel of continuity in the story.

(Click on the Picture to Listen)

Description:

  • Last song for today. I had started waaay to early for this since I got too excited. Anyway, this is the end of Act 1. Tell me what story you've made in your mind so far? I'd love to read them. Maybe I'll steer the story to your story's direction if I like it! :D

I've decided to compile Act 1 in both .mp3 and .ogg format if anyone wants to use them in their games. I haven't done the looping yet on the .oggs though so you'll have to work on those by yourself.

While I like your banners a lot, would you mind including the number of the theme you're doing in your future posts to make it easier to record for me? Thanks :)

  • I'm thinking of doing something big for a huge scale battle scene. Though I'm not quite sure how its going to sound like, it would probably have the same feeling as this one.

  • This one sounds jolly and silly. I thought I'd give it that sort of feel since I'm imagining this in a noblebright RPG esque scene. :p

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
